Quality Assurance / Quality Control Plan

Ensuring Excellence in Every Project

1. Plan Objectives

This Quality Assurance Plan is applicable to all the works to be performed in the Project. The program involves strict adherence and implementation in compliance with the specification for all construction activities, including:

  • Field and off site inspections (material & executed work)
  • Field and off site testing (material & executed works)
  • Daily monitoring & inspection of field construction works
  • Controlling of shop drawing and material submittal production
  • Documentation and record quality control filing system
  • Preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals by project end
  • Internal Quality audits
  • Reporting to Client

2. QA/QC Organization Chart

Our QA/QC department is structured as follows:

  • General Manager
  • QA/QC Manager
  • Electrical QC Inspector
  • Civil QC Inspector
  • E & M QC Inspector
  • QC Document Controller

3. Quality Control Organization

The QC department operates independently, reporting directly to the Project Manager. Their duty is to ensure conformance to standards, specifications, and drawings regarding materials, workmanship, and performance. Both direct employees and subcontractors work under this organization.

4. QC Personnel Authority

QC personnel have full authority to stop any non-compliant work and issue rejection notices. No work proceeds until deficiencies are corrected. They coordinate closely with the QC Manager and Client representatives to approve or reject work.

5. Responsibility of the QC Manager

  • Coordinate with Client regarding quality matters
  • Inspect materials/equipment received on site for compliance
  • Ensure required testing is performed
  • Maintain QC activity records and make available to authorized personnel
  • Enforce “Hold Points”
  • Deal with field supervisors to correct deficiencies before concealment

6. QC Inspector Duties

  • Assist QC Manager in all QC activities
  • Maintain filing and records of QC activities
  • Conduct inspections and testing per specifications
  • Conduct hold point release inspections
  • Ensure materials delivered are per approved standards
  • Conduct testing and commissioning inspection
